Why you need to break the rules

read this if u feel down

This post is for a very special someone.

Not everyone will connect to this.

There are some of you out there that are really struggling.

Back against the wall. Things are not going well.

Maybe you’ve been stuck in this for some time.

Maybe you’ve been going down in these motions of up and down.

You’re in a rut. The downs have been really down recently.

Well, I’ve been there.

And there were no manifestation techniques that got me out of that hell.

Well — if things are spiraling ‘out of control’….

But you know you, deep inside you…

That you have the relentless belief that you can take it.

You will solve this. You will make it.

You’ve faced hard stuff before.

I want to awake that spirit in you with this story.

When things go south, bend the rules.

Yesterday I spoke with a Founder who bended the rules,

bended the rules elegantly,

someone who faced out of the ordinary adversities,

back against the wall.

A bunch of copycats ripped off his product.

When you invent things, like innovative tech, people will copy you.

These things happen.

He needed to come up with a plan.

They had “stolen” all his customers with cheap counterfeit.

So what he did next was pretty incredible. Some would say ‘unethical’.

He bought all their inventory.

Because he had invented the tech,

he knew the malfunctions of the product.

So he ‘bended the rules’, exploited the product loopholes,

microwaved, induced defects, and returned them.

The flood of negative reviews rapidly wore down their reputation on Amazon.

No one bought from the copy cats.

The original product was back on the top.

You could say this is unethical.

But it got his company back to number one on Amazon.

When things spiral out of control, we have to rewire our decision making.

If things are going south, ask yourself:

  • What do I need to change to speed up the progress?

  • Are there shifts you can make to push things forward faster?

  • What are the things that aren’t moving ahead because of me?

You have the power to move your story from adversity to transformation.

2 years later he sold his company and made over 60 Million.

Break the rules. Be an accelerant.

Let the rebel in you handle the adversity.

Bear down with all of your strength.

The world needs what you’ve got.
