She set a world record —

Then she reached out to me.

When Jenn Drummond hired me, her posts reached millions.

The first EVER woman to climb the 7 second highest peaks in the world.

But with that many eyeballs on her content …

Jenn Drummond needed help to monetize those.

Here’s what I did when she brought me in.

First — we got crystal clear on her big ideas.

Which is resilience.

Second — we identified 3 big stories that reflect the strategies of the book.

We built her content strategy with:

  1. Stories around her pursuit.

She escaped death 3x in her life. Pursuing a year long challenge of summitting the second highest peaks in the world.

“I don’t get to choose how I die. But I get to choose how I live”.

  1. Stories on endurance.

We talked about her being a mom of 7. Building a business.

Viral stories with pictures boosted her impressions: „I was hours away from being rescued, 15,679 ft. on a glacier mountain“

  1. Stories on summitting:

The woman is incredible, she hit a world record at 43. In her books she explains that summiting big mountains takes big teams.

I focused on these 3 strategies to create her entire content strategy.

In 3/5 posts of the week we added a CTA to her posts saying

„Grab my book“ or „Dig deeper into the strategies in my book.”

We added a link to one post every 2 weeks.

Every story linked back to a subcategory and the big mission her book was about.

Our results from working together for 12+ months:

Served 💅

  • 50% increase in book sales.

The lesson here?

  • Motivational content performs well on Linkedin.

  • Speak about your product, in every post.

  • Remind people about your offers and tie them into a story

  • Pictures with personal stories are likely to go viral.

  • Engage with your audience every day for at least 90 min. Respond to every comment, Thank people who like your posts. Hire a team to reply to comments and highlight the important conversations she should continue.

A post can sell your book —

if you know how to engineer views and reach with YOUR unique story.

It can take your message from one of the millions to one that stands out FROM the millions.

It can turn you into feeling like someone who isn't heard, into someone who gets to shout their message to millions and people listen.

We really saw a significant shift in engagement, when we we dialled down and co-wrote together.

The way this process works, is she would drop an idea or an insight she had that week and I would transform it into a post. That way we kept her ownership high while preserving her unique wording.

This takes more time - yes - but with patience you play the same melody.

Jenn is an excellent writer. She likes to experiment from different angles. I plug in my power words to expreess her ideas.

Writing alongside founders has been real fun & allowed me to peak into their brain.

Jenn and I continue to collaborate on her posts.

If you organise events and are looking for a speaker at your next event - send Jenn a request. She does these worldwide and her rhetoric is captivating.

PS I‘m opening one more spot in September for a co-writing experience like this. Own your stage & play in a whole new arena. Drop me a note and I‘ll give you my details.

Until then … stay epic,

Stephanie
